After 14 incredible years with Provincial Real Estate and her entire real estate career, we’re saying goodbye. Joanne Pottinger has officially retired from Real Estate on Friday, 6th February, 2026.

A big thank you to our one-of-a-kind colleague and friend, Joanne Pottinger. Born and raised in the Hills, Jo has always embodied the local lifestyle she so passionately sold. Her deep knowledge of the area, her unwavering honesty, and her understanding of what buyers and sellers truly need made her not only an award-winning agent but a trusted guide through some of life’s biggest decisions.

But there’s more to Jo than real estate.

She’s a gold prospector (yes, really), a keeper of bees, and the proud driver of a gold nugget coloured BMW. 

She makes the best preserves and pickles in the west (her chilli sauce is legendary), and she’s partial to bubbles and a bit of a dance when the mood strikes.

What’s next? More time for travel, long afternoons on the deck with Jamie (wine in hand), and soaking up the serenity of their country haven, complete with vines, chickens, and a well-earned exhale.

Jo has been a mainstay of the Provincial team, and her spark, humour, and generosity will be deeply missed. We wish her nothing but joy in this next chapter and know it will be filled with as much adventure and heart as she brought to the people and places around her.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for your warm wishes, texts and emails, as I embark on this new chapter of my life. Your kind words mean a lot to me, and I truly appreciate the support and friendship you’ve offered throughout my career.

Whilst I’m very excited to be retiring, I am truly grateful for the 14 years in this crazy world of real estate. 

Thank you to the 177 clients who have engaged me to sell their properties. It has been an incredible journey and a privilege to be invited into your lives and homes.

To Ben, Liz, Pamela, Sam, Dani, Dave, Jasmine, Allia, Jack (and partners Pete, Dec, Jon, Tanya, Brendon and Lou, & Ali)  and over the years Angela, Adrienne, Nic and Janet  – You have all become more than colleagues.  Friends that I will treasure into the future.

As I transition into retirement, I will cherish the memories we’ve created together and look forward to staying connected.
